This full-scale townhouse renovation was taken down to the studs and comprehensively reimagined into a refined, light-filled 4 floor single family home. The townhouse was extended by 15’x25′ over 2 floors, a 150 sqft bulkhead on a new roof was built and new staircases throughout installed. New electric, plumbing and Central AC and 2 restored working fireplaces. The basement was dug out, building underpinned and a gym and wine cellar built.

Every aspect was customized to the clients design plans. From bespoke millwork, doors, trim, cabinetry, and closets to a custom staircase, wine cellar, library, home bar, oversized sliding doors and windows and two kitchens. The result is a home that quietly honors its 19th-century bones while embracing modern conveniences and a sense of understated luxury.

Bathrooms and kitchens were tailored with custom details and high-end finishes, striking a balance between elegance and functionality, and playfulness and unexpected details. Every space was considered cohesively, from the grand gestures to the smallest details.
